Our location at 339 Willow Street Suite B is located just minutes from downtown Truro, Nova Scotia and is easily accessible from Highway 102. Our clinic is housed in a professional building that is also home to Early Childhood Development Intervention Services, Truro Pediatrics, Autism Nova Scotia Colchester County, and the Medicine Shop.
You will enter the building and travel upstairs, to which you will enter our waiting room. Here you can wait comfortably for your child and help yourself to a beverage in our coffee bar offering coffee, tea, and hot chocolate.
Should you wish to run errands or grab a beverage outside of our clinic, there are local coffee shops such as Novel Tea Coffee House and Bakery or Aroma Maya. Looking to pass some time? Counselling for Anxiety and Depression
We offer therapy services for anxiety and depression that we tailor to your child’s needs and age. We do so by creating a warm, safe, and nonjudgmental space where your child or teenager can freely share their thoughts, feelings, concerns, and behaviours. We work at your child’s pace so they feel supported throughout the therapy process. Additionally, with your child’s permission, we invite you – the parents or guardians, because your support is also critical to their success and growth.
Speech and Language Therapy
Speech and language therapy can help improve speech sounds, fluency, pronunciation, voice quality, articulation, and language skills, so that your child can communicate more effectively in school, with friends, and at home.
Parenting Support
Our parenting therapists work with parents or guardians to set goals that address your needs. Our team creates a safe, judgment-free space for you to express your feelings, thoughts, and situation. Parenting support can help develop additional skills, learn to manage their own stress or reactions, create family routines, and more.
