Strengthen Your Mental Resilience. Maximize Your Sports Performance.

Helping youth and teen athletes achieve well-being, life balance, and mental fortitude so they can perform at peak levels in all aspects of their lives.

Being a high-achieving, elite youth or teen athlete goes beyond physical skills.

High-achieving and elite athletes understand the importance of practicing, repeating skills until automatic, teamwork, and keeping their heads in the game.

This dedication to their sport drives them to excel.

But, performing at your best as an athlete involves more than physical skills and fitness. Your youth or teen also needs mental fortitude, confidence, and life balance to handle the emotional and mental challenges that elite athletes face.

But these emotional and mental skills often are overlooked, leaving youth and teen athletes struggling to figure out how to achieve balance and be their personal best on their own.

Your youth or teen athlete can learn skills and habits to thrive mentally and emotionally in all aspects of their lives.

Top-tier athletes often face additional stress, worries, and demands when trying to achieve their next level of success.

This can be emotionally and mentally draining. They may face powerful performance blocks that hold them back, like feeling:

Anxiety or worry about making a mistake or how to be even better

Pressure to be perfect

Unsure how to emotionally or mentally handle mistakes or perceived setbacks

Overwhelmed by their responsibilities to their sport, school work, and everyday life

Doubtful about their self and abilities to achieve their goals

But your child doesn’t have to struggle through these emotional and mental experiences on their own.

Sports wellness therapy helps youth athletes enhance their mental fortitude and resilience so they perform at their best — in sports, school, and all aspects of their lives.

Help your athlete work through mental barriers that hinder performance, so they achieve their full potential.

As a parent, you want to help your child reach their goals and pursue their dreams. But being the parent of a high-achieving and elite athlete can come with additional challenges.

You see them dedicating their time and giving their all to be their best. But many athletes also put additional pressure on themselves that’s hard to cope with and manage. As a parent, you want to help, but it may be challenging for your child to fully ‘hear’ you.

Fortunately, your child can learn specific skills, habits, and strategies to help them build a strong mental resilience that will help them in sports and throughout their lives.

Strategies that are tailored to your child.

My therapy is personalized to meet your child’s needs. I create a safe, open space where your child can freely share their thoughts, feelings, and concerns. I work with them to help them identify the mental and emotional barriers impacting them.

Together, we use evidence-based theories and strategies to help them work through and overcome the challenges they’re facing. Additionally, they learn how to integrate these skills into their practice, training, competition, and life.

So they can strengthen their mental and emotional wellness and achieve their personal best — in their sport and lives.

I’m passionate about helping youth athletes achieve balance, well-being, and mental resilience — so they perform at their best in all aspects of their lives.
