What We Offer:
Our anxiety group is designed to help children develop practical skills to manage anxiety and build resilience. Each week, we focus on a specific area to equip children with the tools they need to thrive. A video summary will be provided after each session for parents to know what their child learned and what strategies can be practiced at home.

Weekly Breakdown:
Week 1: Introduction and Group Building
Get to know each other, establish group rules, and create a supportive environment.
Week 2: Understanding Anxiety
Learn about anxiety, its symptoms, and how it affects us.
Week 3: Identifying Triggers
Recognize what triggers anxiety and how to anticipate them.
Week 4: Relaxation Techniques
Practice deep breathing, progressive muscle relaxation, and other calming strategies.
Week 5: Mindfulness and Meditation
Explore mindfulness exercises to stay present and manage anxious thoughts.
Week 6: Cognitive Restructuring
Learn to challenge and reframe negative thoughts into positive ones.
Week 7: Problem-Solving Skills
Develop effective problem-solving techniques to handle stressful situations.
Week 8: Building Self-Esteem
Boost self-confidence through positive self-talk and affirmations.
Week 9: Social Skills Training
Improve communication and social interactions to reduce anxiety in social settings.
Week 10: Review and Celebration
Reflect on what we’ve learned, celebrate progress, and discuss how to continue using these skills.
